    This Icom IC-7300 was an expensive purchase ($825 plus tax) but very very worth it. The seller is in Japan and very trustworthy. Communication was second to none. Shipping was very fast and packaging was done with care. The Radio is exactly as described as it is brand new in an unopened box. It's worth noting that the instruction manual is ALL written in Japanese and the radio is set up for Japanese laws. If you want the radio to have unlimited text and receive you have to remove a small diode.

    excellent

    this is the caviar of handheld recorders. sounds so good. everyone will whine about the lack of XLR at this price, but a 150 dollar denecke phantom box solves that. this is my 2nd sony recorder, and i love them. the D50 served me well for 8 years. this is sounding even better to me.
