If you have a large CD collection, keep all those shiny discs in continuous, rotating play with a Sony CD changer. The CDP-CE375 unit allows you drop in five CDs and listen to them in either normal-play or shuffle-play modes, or you can choose repeat-play programming for an encore presentation. Released in 2001, the CD changer originally included an audio cord, remote, and a couple of AA batteries to power it. The device operates with a semiconductor laser, has low distortion, and boasts a dynamic range of more than 93 decibels. The 11-pound music box consumes about 11 watts of power and is small in size, just 17 inches wide, about 16 inches deep, and a little over 4 inches tall.

Matching component and easy to install
This component is difficult to find. Sony makes a superior product, it is lightweight, very easy to install and has multiple features which make it easy for your listening pleasure. The 5 cd changer is easy to program, play discs or songs in random order, continuous play or repeat play. The remote is very handy to skip songs or skip to another disc. You can also load another cd without stopping the current disc playing. The only downside I can find is the remote will not power on the component, it is a manual power switch which must be depressed to turn on the unit. Other then that it is a great quality device that fits my needs.This component is difficult to find. Great five-disc changer with an occasional mechanical glitch
I've bought over thirty of the CDP-CE275 and CDP-CE375. I also own a major audio repair company in Southern California. We fix these up and resell them. They work well and are easy to use, except for one failure. There are five circular cut-outs in the carousel that the CDs sit in. Each cut-out is supposed to line up symmetrically under the disc clamp when the disc in question is told to play. The failure is that the cut-out won't line up symmetrically----it will stop slightly counterclockwise of correct alignment, as seen from the operator's point of view. The result is that some discs won't be clamped correctly. When this happens, they will refuse to play. Usually, this malfunction can be repaired by replacing the little belt that turns the carousel around. A new belt improves the ... I've bought over thirty of the CDP-CE275 and CDP-CE375. Excellent condition and works fine.
This was a replacement for an identical model I had for over 20 years, which failed. The unit is in excellent condition. No sign of wear and tear. So far this item is working fine. I have been using it a lot. It occasionally will register only four of the five CD trays when all five discs are loaded, but when I turn it off and then back on again it has recovered and does play all the discs. Despite this problem, I am satisfied with my purchase. I really missed not having a multi-disc CD player for many months. Great player after some minor service.
This is a decently made CD changer that usually just needs a little love to get going. A good shop can service one of these on the cheap and make it into a great player thats not only easy to use, but sounds amazingly good for a simple consumer grade changer. Typically the mechanical parts need clean and lube and two belts replaced.

This five disc Sony changer is perfect for the cd collector. Great for listening to those multi disc sets to uninterrupted. Hooked up through digi optical cable, this unit sounds great thru my HK receiver. I’ll be enjoying this unit! Why did Sony ever stop making these. Great unit highly recommended!
