        Awesome Again !!!

        My previous PS3 lasted 15 years, lol. I recently found a like new PS3 Slim for a great price. The PS3 Unit has integrated BluRay DVD player, HDMI Output and Audio Optical Output as well. The PlayStation3 PSN Network for Online play is always free, Sony didn't get so greedy untill the PS4 era. This Slim unit is very quiet when running games or DVD, a great console indeed. I recommend the GameSir T1s wireless controllers for Gaming, an easy pairing w/the PS3. I've been using an Optical Cable link to my new Speaker Bar for months now, perfect sound. These Consoles will last a decade or better, and Sony has obligations to keep those Servers open, for the popular Online games we can play forever !!! lol ...

        So I bought a 160gb PS3. When I set it up and turned it on it was making a horrible grinding noise. I decided to take it apart as I've done countless times with electronics. Only to discover that the internals were thoroughly rusted from obvious water damage. I located the source of the noise which was the fan hitting a buffer pad that had come loose. I re applied the pad and reassembled the system. Now it doesn't turn on. So basically I'm out 92 bucks.

        I love it. This thing is awesome !!!

        I love it. PS3 has some really good games. I can play ps1 games on it too. I'd do research on the internet to find out how to maintain it. Dust bunnies and stuffing one inside of a cubby hole in a entertainment center is not a good thing. They need to be able to breathe so they can get rid of the heat they generate.
