    Dewalt "nails" it!

I have never used a power nail gun before, and was suspicious about the capability of an 18 gauge brad nailer. But I had promised to install some aromatic cedar strips in a closet, and did not look forward to hand nailing the strips with small-gauge nails (brads). Got the Dewalt Brad nailer, becausr I have had great success with other Dewalt power tools. and was pleasantly surprised. Looks big, but is light weight and easy to handle. Drives the brads with ease and saved a ton of time and effort. Now looking for other projects to use it on. Definitely worth it.

  • Dewalt xr 18 cordless brad nailer.

Excellent product. Many uses for this tool. Very convenient to use since no compressor or airline is needed. Just insert battery, insert the type of nails you need for your project and go to work. Excellent for moulding jobs. Excellent tool for the price!! Highly recommend!!

  • HOOAH!!!

Works great. I kept waiting to nail my bathroom trim until I had several hours because I didn't want to start the air tank and only shoot a few finish nails. This thing is ready instantly for 1 brad or 100. Now I'm installing about one piece a day. I know, but that's all the time I have. Uses a nice range in length of brads. Works great.

  • great gun with one bad design flaw

I love the gun, it's nice and light and the battery lasts longer than expected. The only thing I don't like is the small plastic end that sits on the tip of the bar that has to be pushed to shoot the nail. If you're shooting a flat surface it's fine but if it's a rounded edge, you have to have the plastic tip or the gun slips off of the surface, it's very frustrating

  • Great tool

Amazing job of putting on wooden siding on my remote cabin. So much easier not to drag up a generator and compressor with air hoses. I did find out that you have to put in the brad nails at 45 degree angle to the surface of the siding; if not the small head pulls right trough. Very happy so far, battery lasts a long time
