      Do Brita water replacement filters expire?

      It was promptly shipped, had what appeared original packaging, but the air had been taken out of each individually wrapped filter which made me wonder how long had they been on the shelf. I've used one filter and the water tests like Brita water should taste. I had always seen air-filled wrapping around each filter, so I was disappointed to see the opposite in this order.

      Smell & Taste

      When I run our water I can smell it. And when I get a strange taste, that is when it is time to filter it. I also use a counter top ice maker and they recommend using filtered water. I was thinking of purchasing a new pitcher from a different manufacture. But there cost was a good reason to resume using the Brita system. Though the batteries stopped working in my ten year old pitchers the taste has been improved from what comes out of the faucet. I have set up a reminder on my calendar to replace the filters every two months. And looking for bargains on filters is why I have resumed using these filters. It also appears that the design has changed. But I am uncertain as the packaging fails to have product information printed on the new packaging. And the descriptions ...

      Make your tap water taste better

      I’ve been using Brita water filters for a long time. Where i live the chlorine taste is terrible. These easy to use filters take care of that problem. I simply put one in my 18 cup Brita container and let it do it’s job and all of our drinking water is clean and taste great. I change my filter about every 2 months or so sometimes longer. You’ll know when it needs to be changed because your water will start tasting bad. My container used to have a led gauge but it broke years ago but you don’t need it. I would highly recommend Brita water filters for anyone who has a lot of chlorine in their tap water.

      Would buy again

      Great product, quick delivery & a great price! What more can I say? I use the filters and at this price point, I'll buy again. Good Seller, too! None of the above questions fit this product. So I'm planning on just leaving them blank. I cannot say that the product is compact (though it is the correct size); easy to operate (it's a FILTER, how hard can it be?); or that it's easy to clean (you don't clean a filter).
