Were not exactly what is pictured - they don't have the retaining ring around them. I assume the boot is just glued to the metal which was the problem with a caltric set. I can actually hear grease in these unlike the others and the boots haven't separated after 1 abusive ride. Hopefully they last 2+ years at this price
