short lived
product failed after 2 hours running time . I had to cut the ends off to make it fit, this is typ. on modifying an old unit but, because I modified it I receive no replacement, even though it was just trimming the base plate and had nothing to do with the performance of the unit whatsoever. the unit failed because the primary side of the transformer electrically shorted on the inside of the unit . and this caused other damage to my controller that I had to repair .product failed after 2 hours running time . Great, long lasting unit.
Good old fashioned tough iron core ignition transformer. Better than the modern small coil computer Tesla coil type that burns out if electrodes are out of adjustment. This one can tough it out.
