    Great documentary; thank you PBS.

    I'm a West Virginian, so I was very interested in this documentary. I thought that PBS did an excellent job with this documentary. It just made me mad at the UMW headquarters in Washington, DC, and Mother Jones for not supporting the Frank Keeney and his followers who invaded the southern WV coal fields in late August, 1921. I mean what was Frank Keeney supposed to do after Sid Hatfield and Ed Chambers were assassinated in the yard of the McDowell County Courthouse on August 1, 1921, just say, 'Oh, My' and forget about it?

    Heavy and Upsetting needs to be seen

    A true look back on the hardship and abuse of the coal miners from the early 1900's. My wifes family lived threw it. It was indentured slavery of American people. Black, White, Irish, Italian. Much has changed over the years BUT Changes are still needed.
