Ezio Auditore da Firenze's relentless pursuit of the Templar Order continues in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, the first game in the series to feature a multiplayer component. To deal a crippling blow to his opposition, Ezio takes the fight to Rome, where corruption and tyranny reign. He'll need help to succeed in his mission, however, relying on a brotherhood of assassins to assist him in reclaiming the city. You'll recruit and train a cadre of killers, sending them off to perform specific missions elsewhere in the city, or having them join you in completing your own tasks.<br><br>As you complete jobs, you'll receive money that can be used to reconstruct the capital city, earning the trust and loyalty of the people, which will unlock additional factions and missions. Poison darts, hidden guns, parachutes, and the advanced flying machine are once again at your disposal, along with historical figures Leonardo da Vinci, Niccolo Machiavelli, and Caterina Sforza. In addition to the single-player campaign, which spans an estimated 15 hours in length, Brotherhood lets you compete online with an assortment of character classes.<br><br>Each class, from the priest and prowler to the engineer and executioner, possesses a distinct weapon and special ability, such as speed boosts or smoke bombs, to gain an edge. The goal in the game's "wanted" mode is to systemically eliminate the competition by using a combination of stealth, special abilities, and acrobatic maneuvers. In the game's "alliance" mode, you'll engage in faction versus faction battles. Brotherhood is available as a standalone release and as part of a collector's edition. The latter includes a bonus disc featuring a making-of video, trailers, soundtrack, and development diary; a fold-out map of Rome; an art book; a jack-in-the-box collectible with the doctor class type; and two in-game maps for the single-player campaign: Aqueduct and Trajan Market.

define great gaming in one word... BROTHERHOOD
I loved the first assassin's creed although, to me, the plot never went anywhere and only became more obscure at the end. To make sense of it all I got assassin's creed 2 and the ending only left me with more questions and less of a clue as to what direction the plot is actually going, however I found the game surpassed the original on all levels. Brotherhood is no exception, it has taken all the great game elements that I've come to love and managed to improve them. Character control is better than ever. Graphics are simply wonderful, the realism and grand scale of brotherhood really puts me into the game. Content is massive with so much to do & accomplish that the consumer will get their moneys worth, you will not breeze through this one. You get to play in the animus, pretty much ... I did expect the jack in the box to be manufactured better, I'm not saying its trashy but I expected a higher quality from the photos. That about sums it sums it up... I'm going to finish playing it in the hopes that somehow sense can be made of the story. I have a terrible feeling that it is going to be a scienfield episode where there will be no point. Or like lost, where there was never a point to begin with, followed by sequels trying to legitimize a absentee plot resulting in only diluting the whole ordeal even worse. It astonishes me how much I enjoy the game even though I cant make heads nor tails of it, but something needs to give. Hope I was helpful in

Especially if you are a fan of the Assassin's Creed franchise, the bonuses that come with this item include all the special edition extras for the game however they provide for added flare and amusement an AC: Brotherhood themed Jack-in-Box with your choice of either the rare release Harlequin version with the two hands holding blades or the Dr. release with the overdose syringe! Both versions are well made and will crack a smile on those who enjoy the games and those who like little surprises. This series was only released in America for some reason but all PS3 owners would be aware that all games work on most consoles but only online play will be affected if you are not from the region area listed on the game, IE: USA ... As stated this edition was only released in USA and was not provided to other areas to enjoy which is a shame as it gives more for your money and a softer humorous side of the AC series.

Ubisoft outdid itself, a must have for Assassin's Creed fans.
Oh My God Oh My God,when I propped the box on top of my bed so much emotions ran through me. Since opening the box and being startled and arroused by the Jack in the Box I was amazed at how much improved the game play was from the previous installment. So cudos Ubisoft, Revelations now seems dull compared to this one. Very few improvements, really the hook blades all they got. So many side quests and mini challenges to keep me occupied. Having played this for now 2 wks I amazed I'm still in sequence 3, too busy completing the Romulus Lairs, Courtesan, Mercenary, Thief, Flags and Feather challenges. So thank you yodafett1 for the Winter Break experience and keeping me away from my much needy friends. 5/5 in the Assassin's Trilogies.Oh My God Oh My God,when I propped the box on top of my bed so much emotions ran through me. Best Creed so far.
You have so much you can do.Quest or just assassinate guard's on rooftops is hour's of fun.I may have to miss a day of work or two. The movements are great.Arrow storm rocks.So does having assassin's at a whistle.A few glitches when a fight breaks out.Doesn't go into battle mode right away.Other wise one of the best games ever.And I don't make that statement lightly.I'm a huge God Of War and Prince Of Persia fan.You have so much you can do.Quest or just assassinate guard's on rooftops is hour's of fun.I may have to miss a day of work or two. nice ass box and the extras inside. Great for the Assassins Series in a collection. If you got the other games you should have this one to add too your group. Also the new Assassins Creed will be coming out the end of this year (check gameinformer). Keep an eye out for that one =3.
