    Some of the best of SNL, from the 70's, 80's, and 90's

    Picked this one up for the Grateful Dead's 1978 performance of Casey Jones, and found some of the other performances to be really good. The one exception being Eric Clapton's somewhat lackluster performance of Wonderful Tonight from 1990. Other notable performances are Annie Lennox from 1992, Sting from 1993, Dave Matthews from 1995, and Elvis Costello from 1977. Must admit a few of the tracks really surprised me. I don't normally listen to Annie Lennox, but I found her performance to be one of the best. This is a really cool CD for both fans of the groups and fans of the show.

    Great CD !!

    I bought this as a gift for my grandson. He loves the CD. I bought the Volume 2 also and will probably buy the other "Saturday Night Live music CD's for him.
