This foundation is not for every skin type. It's not for very dry or mature skin. I'm 34 and have noticed that this foundation doesn't look as good on me as it did when I was 24. It settles into lines I didn't know I had. The matte version is a big no on mature skin according to my mom. Great for sensitive skin. Moisturizer and primer are a must! I use this when I have hormonal acne flare ups. It's the only foundation that allows my skin to heal while minimizing the breakouts I would get from any liquid foundation I've tried. I prefer full coverage. This is definitely not full coverage but it's fantastic for a quick, dewy, no makeup look or when you don't want to use a separate sunscreen. It doesn't last on super oily skin without primer or setting spray but that's basically all foundations. I've purchased this many times over the last decade.

Different this time
I have used Bare Minerals Foundation for years and always loved it. I thought I would never use any other make-up. But this last order is different from any I have ordered before. It is more matte, and dryer, and it does not cover like the previous same product. I have tried to wear it several times and finally had to give up and order a different brand of foundation. I don't know if the ingredients or production was changed or if I got an old product, but I am afraid to order this foundation again. I am very disappointed with the change and sorry to have to change foundations.

bareMinerals, a review.
The bareMinerals Foundation powder has light to medium coverage. You can build it from light to medium but if you keep going it looks cakey. I got this because it is easy to apply, fast and does not accentuate my psoriasis like liquid or mousse foundation does. You do need to wear a foundation primer or the foundation seems more condensed around problem areas. I would not use it if you have dry dry skin unless you have a really good moisturizer and primer. You can still use a bronzer with this and it does not move the powder around. Using a cream blush out of a tube is a little weird and some of the foundation does come off then. I use this for every day use. For full coverage I use Kat Von D or Make Up Forever! I also sometimes use Mary Kay mineral foundation and they are quite similar. I go back and forth and sometimes forget which one I'm using. Good luck! P.S. It is important to have a good brush, like a kabuki or big powder brush with a flat top.
Great price... not genuine
I have been buying BareMinerals powder foundation and pressed powder since I discovered the brand six years ago. My item came to me super quickly and I appreciate that, however, the product is not genuine. It is a knock-off foundation and does not go on as smooth as it should, nor does it include the proper labeling on the back. (Sticker was removed). To save a buck, sometime you have to suffer the consequence I suppose :-(

Bare Minerals: one of the best powder foundations available.
I bought Bare Minerals foundation in Fairly light and I was very impressed. The only reason I gave it four out of five stars is because I got a sample/trial size which was supposed to last ten days. I just kept it in my makeup bag for touch ups so I thought it would last a while, but not so. I was gone in 7-8 days. As for the product, it is amazingt. I am using more and more powder based products (primer/finisher silica powder, Bare Minerals blemish powder, and foudation powder) hoping my skin will clear up some. So this is by far the best powder foundation I have tried. Currently I have the Bare Minerals matte in a similar shade so the shimmer doesn't make my skin look oily. But the original has great, flawless coverage and no greeasy-ness later. Great as a concealer too. All in all, I would buy the full sized product again.
