Rad, but expensive...
I love my Blaupunkt head unit! It makes my 1991 Mercedes 300D feel complete. A lot of people have complained that the head unit resets the source back to FM every time it power cycles. That hasn't been my experience. I set it to Bluetooth and it remains on that source. Blaupunkt has released a handful of updates for this car which can be found on their site which I think resolved this issue. My only complaint is how expensive this things is, but beyond that, this thing is awesome!

Worth the Price
This radio is definitely worth the price (around $550) with all of its features. It matches the interior of almost all 80s cars, especially German ones. It really ties the interior together and makes it look complete while also allowing for very good upgrades to the system down the line. If you have a German vehicle from the 1980s and are tired of all the glossy black plastic headunits from all the other companies and want more than what the stock headunit offers, then this is the one for you.

Perfect for a 1980s classic car but with modern features
Perfect for a 1980 or early 90s era classic car but with modern features. Looks more appropriate than any modern radio and better than the two post classic and retro-styled radios from the 50s through the 70s. It fills a gap in the market with a quality product.

Just like the original, but BETTER!!
Looks exactly like the original Bremen I took out of my 964, and it performs as well as any modern car radio I have heard. Was pricey, but worth it.
