This unit is portable and easy to use for those who need electrocautery. The switch ... This unit is portable and easy to use for those who need electrocautery. The switch is made so that you must put pressure on it to activate - no chance of setting it down with it still at operating temperature. This is a good safety feature as the operating temperature is quite high. It comes with four tips so that they can be changed out as needed. All parts of the unit fit nicely into the carrying case which is small enough to throw in a medical kit if desired. Replacement tips are always available.
