It’s not really 4 cups unless you live in the 1950’s... that said it makes a good cup of coffee with a conical # 2 filter. The ‘ON’ light on side could be an issue since it doesn’t have an automatic turn-off.

It Does the Job...
You definitely get a good hot cup of coffee, whereas Mr. Coffee would give me a "not as hot as you want" cup of coffee. The warmer/heater works great at the base for that "hot" coffee. I am neutral on the proprietary filter, its a little awkward to handle and probably would prefer the standard use of white coffee filters. The Cons: I do not like the power light and switch on the side of the coffee maker. Easy to forget to turn it off if you can't really see the power indicator lit up and have to turn the maker sideways to see the power light. If it was in front you would be able to tell if you left it on or off. If thats not an issue for you then you are good to go...again, makes a nice hot mug of coffee. Cheers! ~Dave

No flaws in the pause
It replaced a Proctor-Silex that was not so good. This coffee maker is compact, attractive, and works really well. The pause-to-serve functions without spilling a drop. Very little sediment makes it through the filter. All-around excellent.

This little coffee pot is just as good as your high-dollar models as if not better in many respects. I highly recommended that you get one and keep it as a backup if nothing else get two of them and always be able to have your fresh brewed coffee available.
