Key date coin.
The 1925 nickel is the rarest of all Canadian nickels minted for circulation, and hence demands the highest price. I do not collect varieties, so I don't count miss-strikes among my collection (e.g. far vs, near 6 for the 1926). Prices for intermediate grades (between the 10 numbers for each grade on the Sheldon scale) are more difficult to assess with Canadian coins by comparison to US coins, the latter of which can be found on the PCGS website. Nevertheless, the price for this coin was very reasonable being less than what Canadian Coin News lists for an AU-50.
