I have a few other eco-drives and several other watches, solar, battery powered and automatic. Since I rotate my watches, the automatics require resetting and the battery powered ones die way too soon. So when I buy now, I focus on solar powered options. Most of my watches are silver colored metal or brown leather bands and either white or black faces. This was a little out of my comfort zone with the neon green and black band, but glad I took a chance. This looks classier in person than how it looks on the picture. The lume is pretty good when charged and the chronograph is easy to use. There isn't a lot of text that overwhelms the face like you see in some chronos. Keep in mind that the long skinny hand is the chronograph not the second hand. It does not move until you activate the stopwatch. The seconds are kept on the lower dial and that will move when the battery is charged. My only complaint, and it doesn't really bother me is that the band is a little noisier than I expected. It doesn't make any noise on my wrist, but when holding the watch or putting it on, it is a little clanky. I have had a couple other watches like this, but it isn't ideal.

I've been collecting watches since 1985 when I was 5 years old, and this one is definitely one of my favorites. I love the black and green color since those are my FAVORITE two colors, and I think that the watch's case diameter is perfect to wear everyday! Not too big or too small!!! This watch is also very pleasing to the eyes and stylish, and would look great no matter what you're wearing. Casual, check. Dressy, check. Playing around outside with the kids, check!!! Overall I'm VERY happy with this watch so far and I'm positive that it will remain in my collection for many years to come!!! And I especially love that it's Solar Powered and won't EVER need a new battery replacement ;)

It's Truly a Black Beauty!
I've been wanting a Citizen Eco-Drive watch for quite some time now. My previous watch that I wore for around 25 years was a Seiko Kinetic - can you tell that I don't like watches with batteries? I got tired of the band on the Seiko needing to be worked on and so decided to go ahead and find a Citizen that was affordable and great looking. I found it on ebay! It keeps perfect time and is solar rechargeable, so no batteries to replace!
