Good filter and tube, bad clamps.
Everything went together fairly easy, however the clamps are total junk, one came from the factory already stripped out. Luckily i had some laying around. Also the holes in pipe had to be reemed so the plugs and sensor would fit halfway decent. Wouldnt hurt if the pipe was a tad bit longer as well, for trucks like mine with a 3” body lift.

2005 Dodge Ram 1500
I put this cold air intake on my 05 Dodge Ram 1500 let me start by saying the clamps are complete junk just throw them away when installing it there is no way to sucure the heat shied so it just sits there also were you air flow sensor gose it come with a river gromet that dosnt even come close to fiting in the hole with the sensor not really happy with this product but I figured that’s what I would get with buying a cheap intake I will be replacing with a better quality intake ASAPI put this cold air intake on my 05 Dodge Ram 1500 let me start by saying the clamps are complete junk just throw them away when installing it there is no way to sucure the heat shied so it just sits there also were you air flow sensor gose it come with a river gromet that dosnt even come close to fiting in the hole with the sensor not really happy with this product but I figured that’s what I would get with buying a cheap intake I will be replacing with a better quality intake ASAP

Better than expected. MUCH better than the reviews lead to believe.
Not sure why people are crying about the clamps, they work fine. Must be over tightening them. My 04 Ram needed the included extra rubber on the boot to the throttle body (didn't see it in the box at 1st). The heat shield replaces the airbox lid and clamps right on just like the factory lid did, no flopping around as someone mentioned. My only gripe was the grommet for the IAT sensor was too big, so I just drilled out one of the rubber plugs to the proper size and modified the sensor to fit in it. The howl produced when you stomp on it is AWESOME, hope the mileage improves as others have mentioned, that would be great as well. Don't really feel a difference until over 2500 RPM, but after that it is noticeable (maybe not much but noticeable). H.O. Cams from an 03 Grand Cherokee going in ...
