Bowie Makes It Rain....
David Bowie has been making music for decades, and has dabbled in numerous styles, and sometimes is way ahead of his time. On "Earthling" he mixes Electronic, rock, and a crazy dance groove to his repertoire. He does it up right on the opening track "Little Wonder", and dosen't put on the breaks. On this version, he included 4 bonus tracks, including the collaboration with NIN on "I'm Afraid of Americans" which could only be found on the single release. This album is a refreshing detour away from radio friendly garbage that plagues our airwaves. I love the way he mixes the electronic, the heavy guitars and sould loops to create an ambiance of smooth dance, hard core, with groovalistic undertones. If you love Bowie, give this a listen. He fits into this genre like a silk glove.....
David Bowie Earthling remaster 2004
This is one of Bowies finest albums , you wouldn't think an artist could continually put out hit after hit but Bowie does it with ease. Bowie does it again on this album :)
Bowie Does Techno Better Than Anyone Else
What would a David Bowie album be without techno - he perfected the art and Earthling simply reinforces his prominence at doing it. Bowie reinvents himself every few albums and when he does, it's magic. One of his best recent works. It's fun CD tolisten to - plain and simple.
Techno Bowie: what's not to love?
This is one of Bowie's best albums. I couldn't wait to hear it again! Heard and it and danced to it in early 2004: the music is still transfixing and mezmorizing. He has always been ahead of his peers, and there is no one like him today!
Earthling CD Remaster - Review
This CD is AMAZING. AWESSOME. I don't know how many adjectives I can say about it. It sounds great. And of course... Bowie is there, with all his magic and innovation.
