Unbelievable muscle!
I didn't think a battery powered impact would be as strong or stronger than my air impact and I was 100% WRONG. About a month ago I started changing brake pads on my truck. It was suppose to be a quick 1 hour job. I took the first tire off using my air impact and quickly moved to the opposite side of the truck and removed 4 of the 5 lugs ease. The fifth log would move but only a little. I then tried the trusted 4 way lug wrench and I could not get it to turn or brake . I then took the truck to the tire company that normally rotates my tires because they are the ones that put the lugs on. They made several attempts and then stated they could not remove the lug. I then went on with my life but I was planning on buying a corded impact with 800 ft ld. I own a ton of dewalt cordless equipment but I didn't think the cordless impact would do the job. Well I finally found an XR below 200. and made the purchase. My thought before I used it was lets see it I wasted 200 dollars. The first 4 lugs 2 seconds each, the problem lug stud broke in lest than 10 seconds. My mouth dropped. I was simply amazed. I did not expect the stud to brake without effort. One job made it the best impact I have ever used and owned.

Laugh at lug nuts
Holy cow is this thing powerful! So far I've used it for lug nuts on my Chevy Silverado 1500 as well as my son's Mercedes E320 lugs and caliper bolts. Not even a hint of working hard for this impact. Easily as powerful as my air impact but without having to listen to my air compressor roar or tripping over the air hose. I like the 3 speed/torque settings - I use the "1" setting to run in the lug nuts then just finish off with a torque wrench to spec. The only minor negative and I'm really having to dig deep to find a fault, is that it is a little heavier than my air impact. If you were to be using it all day, I could see there being a fatigue issue. Not an issue for my home mechanic use at all. This is my new favorite tool.

😄the best😄
I got this faster than expected. It works great. I've been putting in 3 in decking boards for the last couple days. Been using three and a half inch decking screws with a t40 torque head. Has been working like a charm. Is making my life a lot easier having this Dewalt impact.😄

more powerful than air 1/2"
this thing is is an absolute Beast it has more power than my intersol Rand titanium half-inch drive air or my aircat they're both stated 1000 foot pounds of torque And this will outdo them both. It is closer to my 3/4 drive aircat in power. Rusted on 5/8" bolts on a dually come right off. While I had the 1-1/8" socket on I tried it on jd 7700 front drive tire bolts and it removed them without a struggle, my air powered 1/2" impacts would never remove those.
Great tool w/ tons of power!
this is a professional's power tool. enough torque to bust lose lug nuts bolts on trucks, cars, cargo vans, 18 wheelers, etc. 3 speed to help you dial in the right amount of torque for different requirements so you won't accidentally over torque and break something. love it!
