Decent, powerfull unit for the money.
On the plus side, it is very powerful, as it handles the dirt and dog hair extremely well. Some say that this vac is loud, but I don't believe it is any noisier than any other vac. My last vac had an auto retrieval cord where this one doesn't, but I knew that before buying. It is a small pain, but still a pain none the less. I was a bit disappointed in the smaller amount of area coverage (width) opposed to some other vacs. It means having to run back and forth more often to cover the area to be cleaned. The main problem for me is the dirt cup and filter. Most all the time, dirt and dog hair get hung up around the filter, and do not drop down into the cup. This creates a mess when you have to open from the top, instead of just dumping from the bottom. You have to twist open the top, remove the debris by hand, and then clean the filter before replacing into the cup. My old Hoover was a lot better at dumping just from the bottom, and the filter could be used 4-5 times before cleaning with an air hose. If you buy one of these, I would recommend buying another filter set (about $10 on Ebay), so that after cleaning you can remove one set for cleaning and mount the second one for use while the first one dries. Other than the cup/filter thing, I would recommend it, especially if you live in a smaller home or apartment.

My new dirt devil
Love this little light cleaning tool. Easy to navigate around furniture, Really easy to clean out tank. Tank is larger,you dont have to keep emptying it out,room by room. Very satisfied with price,shipping was quick, I would recommend this dirt DEVIL upright sweeper 5 star's.

Impressive
This unit does have a slight smell but I will not complain as it does the job. Not heavy at all. Does not adjust to floor but seeing how it has continued sunction this is perfect for pet owners. My previous vacumn recently just give out but apparently it wasn’t doing anything but stirring dust and dirt. I was shocked what vacuuming a once over in my average size bedroom was able to pickup. This may explain why my room was constantly dusty like and I’m always dusting. My eureka is going to the dump today even if it was still operational. I’m impressed with this I hope it last me a while.
