Doc Hollywood (DVD, 1998)

Really cute movie about a young East Coast resident doctor who is offered a big time job as a plastic surgeon in LA. Driving West in his classic Porshe 356 he takes a detour and, swerving to miss a cow in the middle of the road, winds up knocking down a brand new picket fence. It just happens that the new fence is the property of the local town judge. Sentenced to community service in the local hospital, he has no choice but to stay. The people of Grady, are a bunch of characters, and Doc Hollywood, as he is called (Michael J. Fox), is amazed that there is still such a place today. He meets Julie Warner (WOW!!!) and there is majic! This is a great case of a place growing on you and after he finally leaves and experiences LA, he is soon back in Grady with Julie. This is a very enjoyable movie.

This a great movie. Small town takes in young Michael j Fox as Doc Hollywood and causes him to contemplate going to the big city. My wife and I love this movie.

If you were ever born in a big city and then had to move for some reason to a quiet little town then ull love this movie. Its about a big city doctor who is forced to do community service in a small town. Little does he know that this town will soon grow on him and also that he would find the one woman who can make him fall in love with the town and herself as well. If you like to see a romantic and wonderful movie, then i suggest u purchase this movie. It has a wonderful cast and ull find yourself wanting to see it over and over again.
