The black Turbo LabelWriter is 5-by-7.36-by-5.27 inches and only weighs 2.5 pounds, making it small and easy to transport. Requiring only two cables, a power cord, and a USB that connects the device to the Windows or Apple computer, it’s an easy tool to bring to conferences and similar events. Use these LabelWriter printers with any compatible Mac or Windows laptop computer to personalize the attendees’ name tags as they enter the room. The 450 Turbo prints up to 71 standard four-line address labels with a maximum number of 99 characters on each line per minute and it doesn’t use ink or toner. Instead, it uses thermal printing technology to make clear, 600-by-300 dpi resolution prints. Use the repeat feature for up to 99 copies. It’s simple to load the easy-peel, split-back D1 label rolls into the printer with an automatic feeder and an integrated cutter to cut each label. The software enables you to print directly from any desktop or laptop computer running on a Mac OSX v10.8 or Windows 7 or later operating systems to the DYMO LabelWriter. These are ideal for organizing files and any other type of item, such as cleaning, painting, and cooking supplies at home, school, or in the office. The print options include sequencing, text framing, and underlining. Before using the DYMO Turbo LabelWriter for the first time, read the operating manual and care instructions for the printer and software. Consider keeping printing supplies on hand to make name badges, labels, and improve your organization whenever you need. Great Little Printer for Fast Labels
This is a great little printer for fast label. We use mostly USPS labels, so I cant contribute to FedEx, UPS, or other shipper options. The printer generally lasts about 2yrs until the labels start not to print as crisp and wont scan at USPS anymore. We have tried using cleaning cards throughout use, which has virtually no cleaning effect. We are sure there are people that can fix the crispness as we resell them after couple of years and get about 50% of what we paid. We cant complain about that. If you plan to resell it, make sure to print one label so the buyer can see the quality of the used device. We use it a lot though, thousands of labels a year. Often when there are updates from Java, Windows, etc. We have had some driver issues, which we can usually fix in settings. Might need some moderate knowledge of windows to fix it. It gets annoying when this happens. Usually on Mondays when we are most busy. I have not yet found a way to also print invoices on the printer. So you will still need a regular printer for your invoices, also a small hassle as you need to change printer type on each invoice you print or you end up with lots of gibberish on the Turbo. Otherwise its been great. Because of some of the issues listed above we cant give it 5 stars. There is probably ways to fix those issues, but need very good understanding of computers and printer set up. This review is just based on our personal experience.

Convenience in a Box
Do you want crisp, professional, even artistic mailing labels? I love this device! I have multiple label sizes and designs - with my personal and business return addresses, and with and without logo/icons graphics. It is wonderful to print directly from my Outlook contacts list - and to be able to select exactly the label design that I want for that particular envelope - and print it in literally seconds. I have hand printed my last envelope - ever!

Purchase Upgrade due to Operating System, Work's Fine
Because of an aging operating system (Windows XP, now using Windows 7 Pro) I had to upgrade my Dymo Printer, What was taking me 20 minutes to accomplish, now takes couple minutes and performs well, Only difficulty I didn't have a driver and had to go online. That was a bit challenging and I can see where some people would have trouble. Start up time is a bit longer but once that over runs fine, I was able to use the labels I already had on hand. Very pleased with how it operates.
