We own several Dysons and the 11 model has the newest and best features. So far we are impressed with the way it functions. It is powerful yet quiet and very easy to use. One issue, the 1st time we emptied the bin it came apart in our hands. It went back together easily but somrthing to watch.

Refurbished == Used/Dirty/Gross
The actual vacuum itself was a clean and pristine unit, however all of the accessories included in the box were clearly used, dirty and strewn/scattered through out the package. Some accessories were also damaged and one piece was actually missing. Contacted Dyson Customer Support and after given the run around for a couple of hours, they finally agreed to replace the damaged accessories, but not the replace the missing part (they just seemed to ignore that part of my complaint). Bottom line, was not happy with this purchase and would not recommend this product. Dealing with Dyson Customer Support was a hassle and it has spoiled my view of the brand. The picture in my review shows just one of the used accessories that I tried to clean, but yet remained damaged.

Amazing deal on a refurbished Dyson V11...
Bought this V11 because of the reviews. Who knew that it would perform that well !!! Bought a refurbished unit simply because it had the few accessories that I need. We have 2 dogs and 4 cats...imagine the pet hair on the carpets :) This V11 works amazingly well, outperformed the bigger yet practical *** cordless vacuum that I had been using for a few years. The Dyson picks up hair and dust, I would say at least two times better. Less passes over the same spot to try to dislodge pet hair in the rugs and carpets throughout the house. Thanks Dyson for a fantastic product.
