Prior to purchasing my Dyson, I was using a much less expensive corded vacuum, ( $100.) that had as much or more suction than a the Dyson, however it was a real pain moving from room to room plugging and unplugging the vacuum. The Dyson allows me to vacuum my condo in significantly less time and effort then it took using a corded machine. It is a lightweight, versatile and easy to use vacuum. It also takes less space and conveniently hangs in the closet where is this always charged and ready to use. I wish I would've purchased one long ago.

Good product when it works
The vacuum was dead upon arrival. Took about 2 weeks before another refurbished V8H arrives at my house after having to pack it up and ship back. The 2nd shipped one works. For the delay, I was offered 6 additional months of warranty. Hope the 2nd shipped one will last given its high price compared to other vacuums.

Great product but problems with battery
Good price and quick shipment, however vacuum arrived with defective battery. Runs less than 40 seconds on max power even without any power tools attached instead of promised over 10 minutes. Contacted Dyson and they promised to ship new replacement battery free of charge. I wish they tested product well before shipping as not to waste their and my time to get it fixed after the fact but good thing the replacement battery is on the way. Overall it’s a great vacuum cleaner. Especially like how well the hardwood head does the cleaning job picking up even larger cereals.

I love my Dyson almost as much as my kids (maybe more some days?!)
We welcomed Dylan the Dyson into our home with open arms (free of pesky wires too). He such a great addition to the family, definitely makes our family whole. As you can see by the photos, there is no sibling rivalry whatsoever. This vacuum is even fit for a princess. Dylan sucks when he needs to, he's immediately quite with the release of his trigger. His accessories are easily change depending on the mood (and how big the mess). He can be a little rough when needed (for carpets, of course) and has a gentle touch (for the hardwood obvs). And for the ladies, he got a tool for those had to reach places ;) I'll never regret this purchase 3
