Excellent Investment that Pays for Itself in Time and Convenience
This is the third one I've bought in the past few years. Two are installed on my '15 & '17 Subaru Legacies and one on my wife's '19 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Each of these are well manufactured of high-quality material. And I don't have to fuss with having to get new oil pan drain pan gaskets anymore. To put it simply: these valves are simply awesome. Easy to install and they form a solid seal between themselves and the oil pan. There's a rubber gasket built into the end that screws into the oil pan - which gives me peace of mind knowing that will provide a good seal. TIP: put a dab of oil on that gasket prior to screwing into the oil pan - it'll glide on nicely which will provide you greater peace in knowing there's a good seal. My oil changes are so much cleaner and quicker now. I've ... This is the third one I've bought in the past few years. I've bought the optional extender pipe for all three valves and it's great to attach a drain hose on one end and put the other end into an empty container. Just turn the valve to release the oil and off it goes - quick and clean! Plus, you get greater control in that some of my cars have oil capacities greater than 5 quarts. As a result, if I'm draining the old oil into an empty 5 quart bottle, I can simply turn the valve lever off as that bottle reaches capacity. Then it's just a case of quickly and cleanly swapping the hose end into the new empty bottle, reopen the valve and off we go. That's just so great! Love these things. With a lifetime warranty, I don't think you can go wrong. Get yourself one - you'll be glad you did.

I just put it on, so a bit early to tell if long term will be good or not. But so far, no issues. What I did though, after I drained the oil out well, I cleaned up the threads on the inside of the oil pan good, with carb cleaner & cotton swabs. I then put on the threads of the long extension (Needed for the Hondas) the Permatex Red Thread Compound, with the washer, then put it in, same for the valve itself. It is probably not needed, but did it anyway. Part itself seems to be pretty well made. I just put it on, so a bit early to tell if long term will be good or not. But so far, no issues. The valve is very well constructed and heavy duty. It works very well, but I've only had it for a couple of weeks. Seems like it should be fine. It certainly will save me a ton of time and effort on oil changes. I really won't even need a wrench from here on out. I will order one for each car.

All my vehicles get one of these valves!
I love these valves. No mess from unscrewing the drain bolt. No need to fish the drain bolt out of the oil catch pan. There are straight and right angle hose adapters available if you need to direct the flow. There are also extenders if your oil pan doesn't have clearance for the valve, i.e. my 2012 Honda Pilot. You definitely want to check ground clearance if your vehicle is used off road, the valve on my Jeep Wrangler does extend below the oil pan about a 1/4" in.I love these valves.
