A few very fine scratches on disk, but they do not affect the playability. Overall happy with the transaction

Elton's all time best selling album.

By the time of this release Elton John was already a world famous rock act, but after the release of the Goodbye Yellow Brick Road album Elton really became the "Rocket Man" and propelled him to the moon's horns... and beyond. What can I say about it that has not been said, just let it take you to a musical journey that only Elton John could provide (along with Bernie Taupin of course) and enjoy the ride.

  • Elton John At His Best!

I wore out my first cassette tape of this great recording back in 1973. I replaced it with another cassette tape which still plays great today. I have a sealed LP copy I bought when CD`s first hit the market in 1983. I bought the CD version as well which sounded great. Now I`m about to purchase the remastered version of it and can`t wait to hear the improvements. Earlier this year I picked up a mint conditioned album at the largest chain of "thrift stores" in America for a couple of bucks. I just love this album. Elton and Bernie were at the top of their games. What a solid set of songs from start to finish. Hard to believe it`s now been 43 years since this album came out. May I recommend playing this album on a good quality vintage stereo system from the 70`s. Not only was the music the ...

  • Goodbye Yellow Brick Road CD

This is definetly one of the most high quality products I have bought for being "used". I am so overwhelmed by its condition for the price. I havent listened to Eltons music since the 70's, I loved it then. I couldnt think of a place to find his albums in 2006, are there any at all around? was my main question. I was told about e-bay, I saw the casettes, records, and cds. I didnt even know you could find any of Eltons stuff on cds. I only remembered 8-tracks. Then when I received my first cassette of Elton Johns I was soooooooooooooooo happy. Beautiful sound quality in a "used" cassette. Then I had to try a CD, because I have a Cd player in my vehicle. When I ordered Eltons CD, used, with an unbelievably low price,I was sceptical at first but I wasnt risking a lot of cash. Then when I ...

  • Classic Elton John, worth the money

This came out circa 1973/1974, some pop, it also has some references to the 50's styles, great lyrics and musicians. When this came out he was one of the hottest artists to see, great talent.
