Better than the Original
I consider this to work better than the original Sony remote I own. And it is half the price! I bought the FOTGA remote so I could hack the buttons to control my Sony cameras with my custom set up. It works great, easy to open and solder wires to the contacts on the switches. The connector on my Sony remote bent so it would still install in the camera but wouldn't work. So far these work with no issues.I consider this to work better than the original Sony remote I own. And it is half the price! controller for clear view zoom
I need a controller I could use from behind ( radio only no infrared ) that is not a phone that could take advantage of the clear view zoom or the physical electronic zoom ( if supported ) for video production. SONY clearly does not consider professionally usage of it's products. That being said is a problem with it's batteries without thinking about usage of video involved. Versatile, strong and flexible cable
It is an excelent product. Never have aproblem with it. This is a second one I bought. The cable is soft and, the same time strong enough to transmit comands to a Sony a6500 on a gimbal. I intervine inside and modify it to accept comands in paralel from other 2 points on a movie rig with a gimbal at its center so I know the electronics from within.
