Very Satisfied for Fitness Tracking

I considered the Charge HR, but decided on this one because ether small profile allows me to reasonably wear a watch on my other wrist. So far, tracking seems corrects and slightly improved compared to the Flex 2, which I previously had. Also, the band is comfortable and stays secure. Does not offer an altimeter for tracking stairs (like the Charge HR) and is not waterproof (like the Flex 2), but overall, a good blend of features, style and battery life. Great product.

A cheap toy with problems syncing - well known issue.

Fitbit tries like heck to get you to love their products - endless hyping from them thru daily emails and such. I've got the Alta, on my second one since the battery basically is going dead after 2 years on the first one. you need to set it up correctly at the beginning, with the most important being your step length, so get a reasonable accounting of steps/distance covered. I said "reasonable", not "accurate", as none of these toys can be truly accurate unless they actually measure the distance using gps data (wave your arm around and it's mistaken for steps). So, it's good for daily tracking of your activity and provides motivation to stay active, and nothing more (heck, guess that pretty good for a cheap product). The problem is these ARE "cheaply made" and won't last long. worse of it is that the Bluetooth syncing absolutely stinks (as is well documented by thousands of users). My second unit stopped syncing after less than 6 months of use (I've tried hard reset, resigning, etc...nothing works) and I'm stuck with a time that's from a different time zone from my previous trip, A cheap toy, helpful in some ways, but a toy nonetheless, one that's basically a throwaway value and Fitbit knows it.

Heartrate is a great addition!

I have had fitbits for many years and my old flex was still working but I really wanted the heartrate feature. Love this one and got a nice leather band in addition as I am not fond of the rubber ones. Also like the sleep stages feature.

Pretty good and has an easy-to-understand user interface.

It certainly records my steps, sleep, and heart rate, but it sometimes mistakes what I'm doing for walking (like folding laundry) and I'm not sure the amount of calories burned is accurate. But it does provide a window into my daily activity levels, and helps me follow my resting and active heart rates. It's comfortable to wear and helps remind me to move during the day.

Perfect gift

I bought this as a gift for my mother, as her other Fitbit had worn out. It was enough of an upgrade to give her all the features she wanted but not too much that she couldn't figure out how to operate it. I would highly recommend it for any senior who wants to track they're walking another activities.
