Sounds great once installed - mods required.
Just taking the door panel off and back on is painful enough. The speaker fit perfectly into the plastic enclosure from the door. Where it got tricky is that my 2002 SS has a 4 pin connector with white/black/light blue/darker blue wires coming from the radio. The harness provided with this kit has a 2-pin connector which obviously does not work. So I had to re-use the speaker end harness on the old speaker, cut all 4 wires at the speaker end, and splice together 2 of the wires from the provided harness to the "blue" pair pins of the old cut out harness. Plug it together and all works well. A bit more screwing around than I expected but all good now.Just taking the door panel off and back on is painful enough. Not a Direct fit....
The speakers sound very good... 1000 thousand times better then stock.. installed in a 2002 Hyundai elantra and it's not a direct replacement... had to trim the trim ring, add new connectors because the ones on the speaker were not the same.. other then that pretty good..

Good speakers, but don’t fit the adapter mounts!
Luckily I was able to fit these speakers into my stock JBL speaker brackets, because those plastic brackets that came in the kit do not fit the speakers at all!! Sound much better than the old blown stock speakers though!

Did not fit my vehicle
The speakers are fine but nothing about them fit my S10. The wiring was not right and the mounting bases did not fit the speakers or the door. We improvised and got them mounted but was very disappointed with having to modify everything
