    Great concept

    It's a great concept. The pump is not strong enough to push through the water filter on the refrigerator causing the pump to short cycle on and off. Yes, it's a new filter. Works fine without the filter. I doubt it will last short cycling. It appears to be made well, just not enough psi available. Its factory sealed not able to open up to look at adjusting pressure switch. Other than that, your choice.

    Excellent cure for hard water

    This is the second flojet system I have owned. The first was noisy and eventually leaked. This one is much quitter and works flawlessly. I have used this product to pump from a 5 gallon water bottle to my refrigerator to allow for ice cubes and water dispensed. I have well water and, even filtered, it does not work as good as bottled. An excellent product.

    Superb quality and compact size

    I purchased the flojet BW 5000 to replace a pump I was using at the time. The other pump was twice the size, made with cheap materials and was noisy and unreliable. I bought the other pump along with a refrigerator only two months ago. I regret no keeping the receipt as I am stuck with an item that cost me more than the flojet and started breaking down the first week of use. My family loves the smooth operation and silence of the flojet.

    Refrigerator ice machine

    Purchased to eliminate possible issues of leaking water from refrigerator when hooked up to constant water pressure in our seasonal lake house. When we arrive we simply turn on the very quiet pump to supply water to the frige. When we leave for extended times just a flick of the switch and no worries of leaking water. Very satisfied with the quality of this product.
