The gram weight of the necklace is key to understanding what you’re buying. I received a lovely, light weight 14k gold rope necklace that is suitable for casual wear and/or with a small charm. In the main description it says lobster clasp, but down below, you have to look for it, there is a disclaimer that the smaller mm chain have spring clasp. Also main description says solid gold rope chain, but down below it details the meaning is pure gold, but it is hollow rope. It was very light weight. It was pretty, but didn't meet my needs. I returned it. Seller was very responsive and took it back right away and gave full refund.

I had to go online to retrieve all the info to check that I had actually received what I ordered. It was correct. The chain cost approx $200 yet I didn’t have to sign for it, nor was it sent USPS Priority. It was received safely. I would recommend this chain for a child or teenager.
