Silicone insulation but conductor stranding is too low/coarse.

Yes this wire has silicone insulation, however the gauge of the individual stranded conductors is too low causing this wire to be excessively stiff. This sort of makes the flexibility of the silicon insulation moot given the wire itself is too stiff. Also in high flex applications this item won't provide the wearout life compared to a high strand finer gauge conductor. I suppose I know now how the price was set.

Not what I expected

This wire is OK for general purpose wire. It is not soft and flexible like you would expect for a silicone coated wire.

Know what your getting

The wire itself is fine but I assumed is was tinned copper. It was not and my use will require heavy gauge if using aluminum wire like this.

Really good feeling silicone insulation. Copper wire. Not as good as Dean's Wet Noodle wire but a good close second. Well worth the money and wait time.
