Another KR winner
They say everyone has a 'guilty secret'- well Kenny Rogers is mine. I typically like every type of music but mostly with a bit of an edge, and yet... It must be the music and the consistently good choice of song and his majestic voice. He certainly does not have much of an edge, but his songs are inspirational, well produced and he always picks great people to sing with - witness 'Buy Me a Rose', which I first heard many years ago on the CMA Award show when he duetted with Alison Krauss. Well several years later I finally got the album and there it was. And there is 'Love Don't live Here Anymore', also with Alison Krauss and also Billy Dean adding great backing vocals. Plus there is an excellent version of an over-recorded song, 'Let it be Me' ... They say everyone has a 'guilty secret'- well Kenny Rogers is mine.
