    Good replacement for electronic portion

    Only needed the electronics, not the key itself. The electronics fit into my old key with no problem. The instructions they have for programming the fob buttons are fine, but you also have to program the security interlock, which is not in the instructions (without programming the security interlock, when you turn the key the engine doesn't start). Fortunately I found instructions for that on the web, so was able to do that too. Don't know yet how durable it is (OEM lasted 19 years), will find out in the next few years. :-)

    Luckily with a few Lexus models you can program yourself! Saved me at least $200 instead of going through the dealership. Quality of the key itself is great.

    Great Buy

    I ordered this key fob just for the transmitter portion. I replaced my original transmitter (that finally failed after 19 years) with this new one and programmed it per instructions. Works like a champ!
