Not for me

I returned the product. Slicer: I tried carrots, cabbage, tomatoes, and celery and they all came out like super thin mush. Grater: worked great with cheese however timely to clean. The blades insert into the attachment and the instructions say to flip the switch and pull out the blade. I had to spoon to extract the blade Enough to be able to use my fingers to pull it out all the way. Is this just a hassle attachment. It cut food very slowly and I had to press hard on the plunger and was concerned I’d break the attachment

Great Attachment.

I really enjoyed using my KitchenAid KSMVSA Fresh Prep Slicer/Shredder Attachment. I have used it twice so far. I grated cheese and zucchini. I love the simplicity of the attachment to my mixer. The grated pieces were nicely done. I am trying potatoes tonight! If I don't burn them, I will post a picture.
