Very handy
I'm not an electronics expert but when I had an opportunity to inherit a big LED TV if I could repair it, I couldn't resist. This testing tool is really useful in helping to identify what the issue could be with the backlighting. The quality is good and it self regulated the current to prevent blowing out the LEDs. The integrated readout explains the level of current used so you can tell if the LEDs are functional and pulling the right voltage or if they're dead. So it's pretty easy and safe to use. My only caveat is that it may not be worth it if you only fix one device with it. If you plan to fix several or to do this professionally, it's a deal that'll pay for itself in a few uses. The instructions included are pretty awful though, so get yourself to the internet where there are ...
