| Seller Notes: | “The left stamp which is the thin crisp paper Scott #24b is completely sound /free of defects. The right stamp is the fragile paper known as 'soft white' has tiny creases in the extreme upper right perf teeth and a tiny abrasion on the front just below the G of postage in the corner of the L of the postmark strike (possibly caused by the hammer strike against the fragile paper surface which has a high china clay content.) Completely fault free examples of this fragile paper are rare.” |
