    Solid tablet, basic performer.

Good basic tablet. The construction is nice, seems solid. 3GB of RAM is adequate but 4 would be a big improvement. Some mapping apps lag. The size and screen are very good, plenty of brightness outside. The bezels are fairly small which does make holding it a challenge without activating the touch screen. I personally like the 8" size, it's much easier to handle, use as navigation in car.

  • Top critical review

It's a decent tablet for the money but internal storage is horrible.

Coming from a Tab S4 9.7" that I used regularly for many months, I have found this one to be a lot less capable. Yes, there is a big price difference between the two but several things about the tablet drive me crazy. Firstly, you can only get it with 32GB of internal storage (20GB actually available). Devices these days should have at least 128GB. Once I added a MicroSD card it asked me if I wanted to expand my internal storage or use it seperately. I choose expand but after installing many apps got a notification that I couldn't add any more because there isn't enough room (while it shows that I still have over 150GB free). If you only plan on installing a few small apps, this tablet would work fine but if you're like me and install a lot of games and apps then pass on this for sure and ...

  • Not my preference

I just don't like Chrome. I'm so used to another brand and those features. The tablet works fine but I think it comes to a close second to the more expensive one. No problem with apps or speed/connection so this is a more personal opinion then anything. Saying that, I can download Firefox and work with that. The big problem I have with this tablet is there is no back button on the bottom and sometimes a page won't have a back arrow. You have to go swipe back to home and start over. Having that feature would make this tablet substantially better.

  • A great price for what I would call a great tablet

The fact that it has a metal back is impressive as it keeps the whole tablet, especially the screen, from warping and/or distorting. The tablet is now thiner than past generations due to the structual integrity. I trust Lenovo rather than other brands that load the tablet with bloat ware making a cleaner more efficient performing product.

  • Nice little tablet for a good price.

It works very well. Much faster than my old tablet. My old tablet hung frequently and required frequent restarts to get it to work. I have none of that with this one. Some were negative about the quality of the display but I am happy with it. It does only have one speaker but that works well. I use headphones a lot which works great.
