This heat gun is good value for the price. It does the job, the heat element is thick and durable. The fan has 2 speeds and the element has 2 settings. They claim the rating is 1500w but when you do the math it is actually 1437w It is definitely more powerful than my old 1200w gun. The only small inconvenience is that the power cord is riggid, not very flexible. Only time will tell if it will last, I have been using it for 8 hrs a day so far.
