This heat gun is good value for the price. It does the job, the heat element is thick and durable. The fan has 2 speeds and the element has 2 settings. They claim the rating is 1500w but when you do the math it is actually 1437w It is definitely more powerful than my old 1200w gun. The only small inconvenience is that the power cord is riggid, not very flexible. Only time will tell if it will last, I have been using it for 8 hrs a day so far.

Heat gun works, is easy to handle.
This is an excellent product, I had the hear setting on high and my smoke detector went off so my smoke detector, must be highly sensitive. I am going to take this outside of the house, when Spring comes. I see many people working with these heat guns in their studios. I prefer to work this outside when the weather is nice with the extension cod. Overall I feel this is a quality product. I still give it 5 stars.

Just got it, works fine, no idea on durability.
Just got it today, works great but get ready for lots of smoke after you turn it off for the first 10 uses or so. It smokes BAD when you shut it off. I seem to have broken in the element now after a number of uses and little to no smoke now when I shut it down.
