    Scans QR Codes like a BOSS

    I have to record multi-digit serial numbers that are frequently impossible to read without a 20X loupe. It has been a challenge finding a device that will read the white on grey QR codes accompanying the SN. This thing knocks it out. It also reads standard bar codes. The only issue is the occasional "double-read" where it duplicates the read very quickly, but it's just a minor thing.

    USB compatibility issues

    These scanners frequently are not identified as USB keyboard devices. They apparently do not work well with many modern USB chipsets. If you can get them to connect to USB, or if you are using them with another connection type, then actual code scanning is sufficient.

    High performance scanner.

    Very fast scanner. Seems to read anything. Not sure about postal codes but I use it for medical device QR and bar codes and it is 100% better than my old Wasp laser bar code scanner.

    IMB Scans Great

    I've purchased several of these on multiple occasions. Although they say refurbished, they work and look like new. If you need a scanner to read the USPS Intelligent Mail (IMB) barcodes, this is a safe bet and wise investment.
