Unique design

So far this works great for me. I've been using it to transfer water from a water tank to my RV's holding tank. It has a unique design and uses a rubber impeller to mover the water. This design actually allows it to keep water from gravity feeding through the pump when off, and it also makes it able to pump with pretty good pressure. As to it's longevity, only time will tell.

Great for getting water out of boats.

I needed a portable transfer pump to remove water from a day sailor on a mooring. The pump works very well. It is noisy and gets noticed that generates requests to borrow it. I am using the 5AH battery good for about 30 minutes. I purchased 2 additional 5AH batteries on e bay at less than 1/2 the HD price.

Handy unit

Have not used it yet but I work for RWD#2 Brown County and think it will work out great to pump out meter pits to be able to find leaks or get rain water out.
