I love these little leaf punches, but I use paint splattered brown coffee filters to make my leaves instead of actual plants (not as fragile). I've started to gift these out of there useful and quality. ( remember per instructions, to sharpen, punch some tin foil/aluminum foil sheets. To lubricate, punch wax paper).

    Sturdy and well built.

    This leaf punch is sturdy and well built, works great with my 28mm figures (should also work with 1/32 and 1/35 figures). Instead of using dried leaves I painted several sheets of printer paper different colors (greens, browns, yellows) cut them in strips about 1-1/2" wide and punched out tiny fall leaves. This punch works great!

    Making real miniature leaves.

    If you are hobbyist and work on scale model kits, small arts and crafts, dioramas or miniature games, this is a great tool. It has 4 different types of leaves produced when punched and works well for 25-54mm scale figures. I use a piece of medium-dark colored paper or vellum, that I have put a wash on and let dry. Made several punches and decided which to add to the models base or scene. Works great and looks very real. Highly recommended for the price.

    Great miniature terrain addition

    Makes wonderful little leaves for my miniatures. I used coffee filters painted with a watered down craft acrylic paint in various colors and just punched away. I now have 100's of colorful little leaves. Highly recommend.
