A big let down after Ray of Light
I'm not a huge Madonna fan, but I like and respect her work. That said, I really love Ray of Light. It's an album with great feel and energy, with much (most?) credit due to producer William Orbit. I am a fan of Orbit's music work anyway, so that's what brought me to the Ray of Light album. I purchased MUSIC simply because it's got 2 William Orbit tracks on it, and sure enough, those are the only listenable tracks. 7 of the 10 songs are produced by Mirwais Ahmadzaï, and they are awful...sorry... IMHO. 1 track is produced by a 3rd person and it's good too. Turns out I simply don't like Mirwais' idea of MUSIC. good party music
So its 2000 and Madonna has reinvented her style and look a few times since gaining popularity and I expected this release might end up bombing . She took a lot of flak for the "erotica" book and album and I just suspected it might be over. So she puts out an album called simply "Music" and dammit if this woman did'nt completely blow my mind with something completely different yet still authentic Madonna . I loved the video for the title song , and I loved the song . The whole auto tune thing has been employed by everyone from country to urban in the last decade but Madonna made listenable music with it in 2000. I highly reccommend this cd, album whatever . Perfection Condition, Fun CD
CD was in perfect condition. While there are some skips on the album, some of my favorites in Madonna's discography is here. Music, What It Feels Like For a Girl, and Don't Tell Me are definite highlights.

Don't Tell Me
This one starts off with the awful title track and I almost turned it off right there. Thankfully, this CD gets much better after that. I Deserve It is probably the best song here but the Bjork like Paradise (Not For Me) is kind of cool too. If I was into this kind of music I could probably find more positive things to say about "Music" but the best I can do here is say that it entertained me for a couple listens before I listed it on ebay.
