Leaving marks
I started using the cartridges a couple weeks ago. I'm a little concerned that there are large toner spots in the left margin on each printed page. I have cleaned the rollers on multiple occasions to attempt to rectify the problem, but the spots reappear. It appears the toner cartridge is dispensing excessive toner on the left side as witnessed by the "spray" of toner on the cartridge. I plan to continue to clean the rollers in hope that the problem will be resolved.I started using the cartridges a couple weeks ago. Good cartridge
I was using a generic toner cartridge that left smudges and roller marks on the paper. It became unusable. This Brother toner worked great right out of the box - clean, professional-looking printed pages. For a few dollars more, I got a lot more value for my money.

Ruined my new drum!
Terrible copies with ghost images. Tried everything. Made a lot of copies. Ruined my new drum . . . lines wouldn't go away even with manufacturer toner. Not worth the shipping charges to return for refund. Went back to old drum and original manufacturer toner (Brother) and no problem. Don't risk it . . . use "real" toner!
