|Known for their classic percolators decorated with the iconic mustachioed Italian man, Bialetti Moka Express Stovetop Percolators are the quintessential coffee pots. Bialetti has created such a high quality line of percolators that they have sold over 250 million units of this product alone. These stovetop machines come in a three cup size which produces three delicious two-ounce cups of coffee. Percolators are manufactured in Italy using high quality food grade aluminum alloy which strengthens with use. Brewers use the percolator by filling the filter with ground espresso and putting water in the lower chamber. The aluminum pot is then placed on a stovetop and heated to perfection. The result is a rich and strong cup of coffee.|

I've enjoyed good coffee from my drip machine for years. But my friend's coffee was always the best. He is from Croatia and introduced me to this method. I also recently got an electric percolator, mostly out of curiosity, since I've used the Bialetti and Vev Vigano stovetop moka pots for the last 2-3 years, since around 2014. The percolator is interesting and good, but still not as good as the Bialetti. The Bialetti also makes it on the strong side. And the aluminum pots are very hot, hotter than the stainless. I will now reveal my little secret. The older ones are made in Italy and are better made, better machined, milled and just kind of better. The top and bottom fit better, no dripping. Easily available for about twenty bucks, just unbeatable... and fun! And easy to make and easy to clean. Simply rinse it when done and cooled off. It will start to build up "coffee residue" which enhances the flavor. And they make any brand taste better. The 6-cup is a great size. It makes about 12 ounces of coffee, their cups are about 2 ounce cups, based on espresso. Gotta go now, time for a delicious cup...

Best of the best!!!
I make Cuban coffee twice a day for me and my family. I've bought the cheap moka pots in the grocery store but just wasn't completely happy with their performance. I decided to purchase the Bialetti Moka pot and try it. WOW. What a difference in the quality. It's extremely durable and it undoubtedly makes a better cup of espresso than any of its cheaper competitors. Because of the quality of the pot and the seal you are able to create the right amount of pressure to produce a smooth espresso brew without burning the coffee. I bought a second one to take to work and my co-workers love it too. Bialetti is well-known Italian company that produces quality kitchen ware and they certainly deliver that quality with their espresso pots.

Easy to clean, brews in 2-3 mins on high!
Brews on High w/elec stove and done in 2-3 mins. I let the burner get hot till it's glowing before I set the pot on so it's really fast. Tastes and looks like the high dollar fancy pants espresso and I buy my raw beans from Smokinbeans on Amazon 5 lb bag shipped for like $25? Then I got a Goodwill popcorn popper and toss a "screenfull" (the 3 piece metal screen set at the $1 store) using the smallest screen. After I dump a load in the popper, I place the screen over the hole to keep the beans from flying out and after they start sounding like popcorn popping I unplug it and dump them into the largest screen and shake it around to cool for 30 seconds. I then blow on them to blow off the excess chaff and dump into a bigger bowl to allow the co2 to escape for 24 hours then I grind them up on a semi-course setting and get the best coffee ever. I use Ethiopian Yergacheffee beans.

FOR STRONG, HOT, INTENSIVE FLAVORED COFFEE, THIS POT'S FOR YOU!
I like my coffee strong and hot. My husband likes stained warmed water! So, we purchased a Kurig for "each his own". I learned quickly that I didn't like coffee from this style pot. So, I purchased this Express Coffee Stovetop Percolator. There's nothing like percolated coffee to get that rich, velvety coffee flavor. This express percolator makes 3 two ounce cups, which is just enough for "my style" coffee in the AM. The pot works great on my electric stove, and gets the coffee "scalding" hot. It does take a little longer to perk than other coffee makers, but it's worth the wait. And, the loose coffee is cheaper than the pre-packed K-cups. If you're shooting for strong, hot, intensely flavored coffee, this is the pot for you!! Price was reasonable.
Good coffee machine but I prefer the "French coffee maker"
I love coffee and I want to try different ways / processes to make it. This 3 cups expresso machine makes good coffee, not great one. I am happy with it and with the seller. However, I thought it is bigger for 3 cups. To me it a "one cup machine", the American cup size. It could be my mistake for not asking the seller before buying. So be careful to make sure the size of cup you want before ordering. The 6 cups machine is better for a little more price for my need.
