    vinyl repair

    the product is easy to use and you can make good color matches with it. the only problem with it the kit just needs to have a little more product included even if they need to increase price a little. If you have a repair over a half dollar in size you really should order 2 kits. ( It does do a good job though.)

    Avoid this and look for something better.

    Containers are hard to open and leak making a mess. Used product on black jacket so I didn't need to mix the colors I just used the included black option and made sure to stir it well, but it still didn't quite match the black of the jacket. Almost like using a sharpie to on black where the sharpie has a slight purple hue. Followed the instructions to apply the color to the damaged area and then put the textured swatch over it to match the texture of the jacket but the damaged area didn't really get fixed with this product.

    basic

    this works in the sense that it firms up nicely and is durable. My experience is don't bother trying to use the texture tabs... they have no visible cosmetic effect and slow the drying process. I doubt color matching is easy either but that was no issue for me since I was repairing black vinyl. It will stop further tearing and deterioration.. take your time and smooth the product on with an attention to detail and you should be satisfied with the result.

    Good as a last resort for a vinyl repair.

    Works well for sealing a rip in a chair armrest. Mixing the colors was easy. It took some experimenting to get it right. I used a different shirt plastic color stay for each color and mix it until it was good. I can't figure out how the texturing works. It looks ok, but not good enough if you expect perfection.

    Useful product

    I would be leery to use this on a fine piece of furniture (I would hire a pro for that), but this made a suitable and not-too-obvious patch on a tear in a nice pair of tall boots I NEED to keep using regularly. I would use this on jackets, auto upholstery, horse tack, etc. I did not need to mix a complicated color, so I don't know how hard or easy the color-matching system is. Overall, good and useful...but don't try to reupholster your sofa with it!
