    My hometown!

    Nell was filmed in the town that I live in. I remember seeing the streets blocked off for the filming. We were so excited to get to see our little town on the big screen! We enjoyed the movie! Jodie Foster and rest of the cast did a great job acting! Nick Searcy is from a neighboring town about an hour's drive. Thought it would be a nice compliment to show visitors to our family's rental house.

    Diamond in the Rough

    This movie is probably the best over-all story I've enjoyed from Jodie Foster. It has a natural and spiritual feel that I think initially was not understood by critics but as time goes on, can be appreciated for its beauty and honesty.

    Irs a rare classic movie. Love it always!!

    I've seen this wonderful movie years ago and have loved it since. I'm grateful because it was partial filmed here in my hometown Charlotte NC. Right beside a church that my GreatGrandfather built down town.

    Great performances

    Jodi Foster did a fantastic job portraying Nell. Liam and Natasha were also very good as the two doctors. Jodi states in the commentary that she felt it was her best performance to date. I agree! Very real feel to the whole movie. A must see for Jodi fans.
