Great for my 1979 MGB
The original retractable belt on my '79 MGB locked in the retracted position, and like a fool, I took it apart thinking I could "fix" it. The coiled flat spring flew ten feet after whacking my nose. These are a fine replacement. I reused the original heavy mounting bracket on my car rather than all the thin little brackets it came with. The only thing I didn't count on was that the original female seatbelt has the wiring to the seatbelt buzzer. As soon as I figure out the best way to silence THAT nasty little thing I'll be a happy camper. When you get the new belts out of the box they will NOT pull out, they are stuck. Worry not. Mount them in your car, adjust the two knobs on the side so that both arrows point up and you're in business.
