The coolpix line is a huge seller and trade mark for Nikon. Within that series of cameras one stood out to me that being the S1000pj due to the awesome features that of which being the ease of use just point and shoot it also has red eye reduction, skin enhancer, recording video, great quality of pictures and the one that stood out to me the most is the one that i believe Nikon is the first and only to have the projector, thats right i said projector. Just point and shoot your pictures or video onto any wall in the house or outside and share them with friends. This camera is offered at a very good price too. If your looking for a good well made camera at a good price with a ton of cool options and things that will make people say hmmmmmm.. or what the... The Nikon coolpix S1000pj is the ... I love this camera, it does more then expected, I wanted it because of the unique features on it. I took it to my moms 90 birthday party and took many pictures and film clips. I projected them in the evening on the wall and everyone was amazed at the pictures. I loved how clear all the pictures are. The video also are very clear and fun to watch the same day they were taken and not on the small screan. It is a fun camera I will use it for my vacation I will be going on in July. Cool pics with Nikon's CoolPix!
I bought the CoolPix s1000pj for my 16 year old son who wanted to make humorous movies with his friends. I let him look at for a few minutes and told him to shoot a video of me. After he did, I took the camera from him and dimmed the lights. I clicked it on projector mode and it went right to the video, on the wall (a white kitchen wall). He went nuts! "That's the neatest thing I've ever seen in my life" he said. And I agreed with him. If you look hard enough, you can still find these first projector model cameras from between $150 to $200. Dealers still have them new in stock and , of course, used ones are available.I bought the CoolPix s1000pj for my 16 year old son who wanted to make humorous movies with his friends. Great for Sports Training
This Nikon provides the opportunity for immedate sports training feedback. You shoot the video. Then, the individula can see it assuming easy access to a dark room and a white wall. Yes, with more gear like a separate projector and/laptop, you can accomplish the same. But, the extra gear adds expense, and sure does not fit in a pocket. Yes, high speed/slow motion video would be nice feature, but you don't get everything. Battery life is not an issue with the availability of inexpensive third-party batteries. If the student can see it, then he/she can correct it.This Nikon provides the opportunity for immedate sports training feedback. You shoot the video.
